Coaxing to Re-bloom

Although my mom can make most anything grow, she’s never bothered with the drama that diva Orchids create. She buys “cheap” ones at Trader Joe’s with the understanding that they’ll look pretty for a while and then never re-bloom. But this year she has officially changed her track record- she left a couple of leafy ones (i.e. post-bloom) outside all summer and now they’re all re-blooming. I guess some things are best just left alone, and they figure themselves out.
